“ I am a local to the area, so I’ve never stayed in the rooms at The Lazy Goose, but I have popped into the coffee shop a few times at the recommendation of a friend – and it’s always a treat. The coffee is great, the cakes are delicious (you can tell they’re homemade or at least a quality of which one may think they are), and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. There’s also a beautiful outdoor seating area that’s perfect on a nice day – peaceful and full of charm. It’s the kind of place you end up staying longer than planned, just because it’s so lovely. If the guest rooms are anything like the cafe, I imagine they’re just as warm and inviting. ”

“ We heard about the Lazy Goose last September when our granddaughters wedding took place at Eastington Park. On a beautiful sunny day we decided to visit for coffee and cake. Great experience , the coffee was amazing , as were the millionaires shortbread, and lemon shortbread. Will have to return to sample some of the other delicious looking cakes and pastries. I believe they also serve sourdough toastiest as well. It has a large car park which was full when we arrived showing how popular it has become. There are a few different rooms , and outside seating too. The staff were very friendly, and the food and drink excellent. We will definitely return. ”

“ Fantastic stay, bed was so comfortable. The building and how the accommodation has been designed, pleasingly is in keeping with the character of the building. Communication with the proprietor was excellent with taxis available and local amenities including an excellent pub in walking distance. The breakfast was made with local produce with amazing coffee, not your typical full English but that was another reason we loved it. The range of cakes and pastries was amazing, the coffee delicious and the service friendly but the almond croissant is the best I've ever tasted and my family live in France. Superb! I'm scared that I now know about it! My weight is not going to thank me!! ”
